Read the roof detail
before the pack label.

Start with the function
Field shingles, first-course strips, caps and transition metal occupy different places in a roof assembly. Do not substitute a similar-looking product solely because it fits a length or a price point. Check the roof-system instructions and the actual geometry with a qualified professional.
This guide helps compare catalogue units. It is not an installation specification or a claim that any listed combination forms a code-compliant roof.
01 / Compare the asphalt
SH01 is a flat three-tab strip, 36 × 12 in, twenty strips to a bundle. SH02 is a laminated architectural shingle, 39 × 13.25 in, twenty to a bundle. SH03 is a narrower 39 × 7 in starter, twenty strips to a pack. The physical size is not installed exposure or coverage.
SH04 contains thirty 12 × 12 in precut caps. SH05 contains twenty high-profile caps with a 12 × 12 in footprint. Check the intended hip or ridge detail before choosing a cap construction.
02 / Compare the metal
TR01 uses a hemmed eave edge with 2.5 × 2 in legs; TR02 uses a downturned rake face with 3 × 2 in legs. Both are 26-gauge painted galvanized steel, supplied in 10-ft lengths. Finish is black for TR01 and white for TR02.
TR03 supplies twenty 28-gauge individual step pieces. TR04 is a 26-gauge continuous 4 × 4 in apron angle. TR05 is a 26-gauge 18-in-wide W-valley with a center rib. These are three different transition geometries.
03 / Translate count carefully
Two SH01 bundles contain forty strips and cost $69.90 before delivery and tax. It does not follow that they cover any particular roof area. Exposure, laps, cut pieces and waste must come from the actual layout.
Count full packs and lengths in the cart. The checkout allows 1–20 units per SKU; for a larger proposal, contact us rather than splitting a project into duplicate requests.
04 / Plan arrival and storage
Any 10-ft profile means $149 long-material delivery for the request. Parcel-only requests use $29. Prepare a dry ground-level receiving area; roof placement, unloading machinery and installation are not included.
Keep asphalt flat and dry. Support long metal along its length, preserve the finish and handle sharp edges with suitable care. Inspect packaging before use and retain evidence if goods arrive wet, bent or short.
