Only necessary functions

The store currently uses only necessary shopping and security functions. There are no optional advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels or embedded third-party video widgets in this storefront. Accept and Essential only both therefore permit the same necessary functions today. The controls record your preference; they do not activate a nonexistent tracker or subscribe you to email marketing.

The shopping session

A first-party session cookie named khroofingandrestoration_session links your browser to its cart, checkout security token and temporary form details. It is configured for up to 12 hours and is not readable by page JavaScript. Browser settings, session cleanup or clearing cookies may end it earlier. The cart and form can be lost if this cookie is blocked or removed; it is needed for submitting a protected order request. This session does not contain a card number and is not a customer account.

The preference record

Your browser’s local storage keeps a merchant-specific preference under the key sf-cookie-consent:v1:khroofingandrestoration.com. It records the choice and its time/expiry, for up to 180 days. It is scoped by merchant domain so stores displayed on a shared preview origin do not share a preference. Local storage is not sent automatically with every web request as a cookie is. If it is unavailable, the controls still work for that page but a choice may not survive navigation or reload.

How to choose and change

On a first visit, use Accept or Essential only in the compact bottom card, or open Settings to review the description. Both choices dismiss the card and remember the preference where storage is available. Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to reopen the panel. Select a preference and use Save preference to change it. Close, Escape or Back without saving leaves the previous saved choice unchanged. Changing the preference does not clear the cart, replace the shopping session or erase checkout details.

Browser controls and consequences

Your browser can delete cookies or site storage, block cookies and restrict local storage. Clearing the preference makes the first-visit card appear again. Clearing the session can remove a cart and form draft and may invalidate an open checkout token; refresh the page before trying again. Blocking optional cookies in a browser does not disable our cart because no optional category is used. Blocking all cookies can prevent checkout. We do not override your browser settings.

Preview routing and third parties

When this store is viewed through a shared preview address, the preview host may set site/version routing cookies so links keep opening the same release. Those are infrastructure routing values, not a merchant advertising profile. They can be cleared through your browser. Our own preference remains merchant-scoped. If you open your email client or follow an external service, that separate software’s storage rules apply; its cookies are not managed by the store panel.

If optional features are added later, their purpose and controls must be explained before they are activated; this policy does not claim consent for future tracking.
